Appointments
In 2023, appointments in the Canberra clinic will be available at the following times:
Wednesday, 1030am-230pm
Thursday 1030am-230pm
Friday afternoon 1230-630pm ( these appointments are generally reserved for Telehealth appointments)
Saturday 10.30am - 6pm.[ only some Saturdays will be available]
Apointments on other days and times may occasionally become available but, typically, these days are associated with court-related work/giving evidence, report writing commitments, agency and other meetings, school observations, and administrative functions.
No appointments will be available at the clinic on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday..
Appointments can be made via email. Email is the preferable means of contact as Dr Connor is unavailable to answer calls due to being with clients or undertaking other aspects of her work.
Also please note that, in general, Dr Connor is booking around nine-ten months ahead [since the COVID-19 outbreak, the waiting time for appointmetns has increased significantly to around 10 months] - and Dr Connor is unable to respond to crisis calls due to meeting the needs of other patients/clients.
The best number to call is the Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team at The Canberra Hospital on (02) 62051065 or 1800 629 354.
Requests for Reports.
Please note that, as Dr Connor needs to allocate time well in advance for ALL writing tasks, reports of any kind are not able to be provided within short time frames. (For example, a request on a Monday for a report to be provided within the same week or within that month would not be possible in most circumstances). Typically, report writing time is allocated at least three months in advance, as with appointments - and in order of receipt of requests. Please take these time frame constraints into account when contacting with a request for a report or any written statement/letter.
